I can access the admin section but the website (http://butte100.com) doesn't load.  I just get a spinning wheel.  I've tried deactivating all plug-ins but still have the same problem.  Any suggestions?  I have another site using this theme, but an older build and it is not a problem (http://theglacierchallenge.com).

It's definitely a problem with the Salient 7.6 theme.  When I switch to another theme it loads just fine.  I get this error message on a private browser window... Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/mctiming/public_html/butte100.com/wp-content/themes/salient/nectar/love/nectar-love.php:309) in /home/mctiming/public_html/butte100.com/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1179

    Hey Again,

Could you try installing the Theme as that error is likely caused when the Files havent uploaded 100% .

Reinstall the theme by following this guide: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/ .

    Best.

I can't get the theme to install via the upload theme process within WordPress.  It errors or times out every time.  I did remove the theme and then upload all the files via ftp, but it is still the same problem.

I'm using this same theme for three other sites on the same cPanel account, so I'm a little surprised with this problem...

after clicking install now for the salient.zip file I don't get a dropdown to update, i only get the "Are you sure you want to do this?  Please try again."

    Hey

Your PHP Settings are likely not correct.

You can verify your PHP configuration limits by installing a simple plugin called WordPress phpinfo http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-php-info/

Recommended PHP configuration limits are as follows:

    • max_execution_time 60
    • memory_limit 128M
    • post_max_size 48M
    • upload_max_filesize 48M

Please have your hosting provider fix this for you so it can be installed correctly.

    Thanks

This seems to have resolved, though when I first started tinkering with your suggestions, it didn't seem to work.
