When using an html id tag and anchor, I'd like the screen to scroll to the anchor position as Salient does when using the Down Arrow on the Nectar Slider, in a smooth animated fashion, instead of an abrupt jump to the anchor.  Is there a code I can use to achieve this?  Thanks!

The issue with my website is that, it was jumpy just as Joseph pointed out, but i added the following CSS into the custom code section: html{scroll-behavior:smooth !important}

and it has worked well since then except for one thing: When i click on a n anchor tag that is suppose to move to another section of the same page, the smooth scroll goes slow at first and then fast but i want the reverse - fast then slow, i have tried all the Javascript i could but nothing seem to work, please could you help.

Again, the anchor tag does not go precisely to the section where i want it to go, it sort of goes a bit higher, i guess it is because of the sticky header, i have found a way around this but not quite what i want. If you could help with this too, i will sincerely not mind.

Hello again Tahir, I have tried this but still did not work. What I am trying to achieve is to make the "Slow then Fast scroll" be reverse: When the button is clicked, it should scroll fast and then begin to slow down as it gets to the section it is going to (Basically the opposite of what it is doing now.)

If you click on the button that says "YES, I WANT MY FREE COLORING BOOK", the button is suppose to lead to a contact form, it moves slow then fast but i want the opposite; fast then slow..
