Is there a way to simply have a mobile menu appear (without turning on the off-canvas menu item for desktop) when the viewport is being viewed on a mobile device - whilst leaving the Top Navigation menu (main) menu as is for desktop without using CSS to hide the hamburger menu from appearing on a desktop device?

I found a very old article (2017) https://themenectar.ticksy.com/ticket/1177262/ that references 'how to' but I would have thought by now this would be a function built into the admin and/or would have had many more requests. And I'm not sure this is still relevant to the new v14+ builds? 

The goal here is to have a different menu for desktop and one for mobile without using the Off-Canvas menu option.

Thank you Judith for the suggestion, but that's not a viable solution to the real issue. That layout simply doesn't allow for the hamburger menu visibility... but the layout isn't what's used on the site. And, the site owner isn't willing to change the UI for this.

Thanks, Tahir we do not want the desktop menu appearing on mobile. We want a completely separate one for mobile. We understand by default that the mobile site and menu inherit the main navigation if not other options are selected. Adding an off-canvas menu seems to work but we don't want it showing on desktop. What is the proper CSS and we thought this would have been a feature :)
