Need help very badly. For some reason, everything on each page of our site using the Salient theme does not show/has emptied the visual composer content. It appears to be blank but the content is found inside when you go to classic mode. This has broken the nectar slider settings that we have. Only thing that was done was update Wordpress version. Please help. I see we have passed the 6 month free support that came with it but cannot decide whether to buy/purchase again for support as we do not know if this will be supported in the first place. Please help. It certainly is a theme issue but please let us know how to fix it.
This is a known issue with the Latest WP Core Update. Simply update the Theme and VC Plugin to the Latest Version and it should work .
Salient 7.5.02 is now available for Download on the Themeforest Download Page , Visual Composer has also been Updated to Version 4.12.
If you're upgrading from Salient VC 4.9.2, you'll need to delete the plugin from your plugins section in the WordPress admin panel before installing the current version (4.12) in Appearance > Install Plugins - This is necessary due to a bug in the Salient VC 4.9.2 which prevents regular updating.
I alos trieed to get the Envato Toolkit Plugin. It was not available. If I uninstall salient I will lose important content. If i overwrite the theme, how do the plugins get updated. Visual composer vanished from this web site.
